Mid-week training will commence Tuesday 17th April and Thursday 19th April, and most Tuesdays and Thursdays thereafter till the end of the season.  This coaching is provided free to members of our club and must be in our 10 years and above age groups. Club training is designed to provide basic development of skills across the spectrum of athletic events.  As such the focus will be technique improvement.  The club has five coaches.  3 x Level 2 Club Coaches and 2 x Level 1 Beginning Coaches.  We also have received funding to further develop these coaches skills during the year.


The school has received funding to top dress the field between the track and the discus areas.  The work has now started so please do not enter the areas that will be closed off during the construction period.  The work will benefit the club as this area had become too rough for us to use the far discus field and the field we use to use for Javelin events.

Wet Weather?

Due to the nature of Athletics being held outdoors, for the safety of all athletes and volunteers, it may be necessary to cancel events or club competition days  due to the wet grounds.  Notification of cancellation is usually published on the home page of  our website on the day of competition or you can call the number above.
